Oban - overnight - 1st and 2nd July
A night in Oban, Matt at a hostel and us at another hostel as its hard to get a group of 3 in anywhere using budget accommodation and the school holidays and the summer season apparently cranking up. We got here late in the afternoon and left early however did get a chance to walk around another lovely port town with easy access to everything you need. Walked up to the McCaig's Tower & Battery Hill - funny old story read more here. We went to the Oban Inn for a beer and a meal and Jim definitely did not sing Country Roads at this Oban Pub. Again we were dodging the rain and a bit colder today.
