Off home for a breather

Home for a catch up. 23rd May to 19th June.

After four months in South America we decided to go home for a catch up with family, rest up and plan our next adventures. So we said our goodbye to the Intrepid group in Bolivia and made our way home flying from Sucre to La Paz where we had a stop over for a day then to Santiago again for a twelve hour stop over (not to be recommended but unavoidable) then home to NZ.

When we were at home we had a good catch up with all the family and even a trip away to Punakaiki for a weekend. Went to Nelson and saw Nana and Aunty Jill and caught up with the Renwick Multi Sport Club with a night at Bernie & Mikes. We also managed to gate crash Ho's 50th RFB celebrations.

Jim managed to help Jeff out for a few weeks on the vineyard and Maree got to have a bit of time at Witherlea. Anyway four weeks at home we felt good enough to set off again this time heading for the UK.
