Valparaiso to Santiago to Puerto Montt 14th February
Bus from Valparaiso to Santiago less smoke in the air at Santiago we can see the mountains just. Uber from bus station to airport for flight to Puerto Montt. A few hiccups got in the wrong Uber much confusion. Maree checked in as Jim using auto check in and had to go to the assistance counter and Jim lost his multi tool in security - dumb for packing in wrong bag. Rookies today!

Puerto Montt 15th – 16th February
Puerto Montt is quite a nice city, though we have stuck to the main touristic area. I think that since Matt has been here there is the added addition of a boardwalk and development on the sea side of the town that I imagine has made a huge change to the aesthetics. A couple of features are the pier – albeit small and the iconic statue of a couple looking out to sea.
