Ensenada to Chaiten 20th Feb
Organised early to get the rental car back and get on the ferry from Puerto Montt to Chaiten, where we will try a Workaway. All went well but went to wrong ferry terminal. We panicked a bit because we were told we were at the wrong port and with our limited understanding of Spanish thought WTH. Luckily the correct place was only 6 minutes’ walk away. We ended up having plenty of time as the ferry was 3 hours late leaving! Ferry ok, we have had a lovely chat to a Chilian couple who are heading away on holiday.
The Ferry got in at 2am instead of 9pm! Our workaway host picked us up at the ferry and we slept on the floor for the rest of the night. No Worries.
